Introduction to fluids mechanics and Hydraulics
FLUID MECHANICS AND HYDRAULICS:
Fluid mechanics and hydraulics is the branch of science which deals with the behavior of the fluids (liquids or gases) at rest as well as in motion. This branch of science deals with the statics, Kinematics and dynamics aspects of fluids.
Statics or fluid statics:
Fluid bodies in equilibrium under the action of external force or study of fluids at rest is called fluid statics.
Kinematics or fluid kinematics:
The study of fluids in motion where pressure forces are not considered is called kinematic or fluid kinematics.
Dynamics or Fluid Dynamics:
The study of fluids in motion where pressure forces are also consider that branch of science is called Dynamics or fluid dynamics.
